Okay, first of all, this is simply... amazing. The color scheme is excellent for the mood you were going for, and you didn't randomly switch colors (which is nice) It's not terribly original, (a wolf turning to look at the audience in a forest) but it does have it's own flair and sense of standing-out. One thing that sets it apart is the wolf's expression. While most people go for the feral and confident look, you went for a most subtle and calm look. I commend you on the fur, which is always a difficult thing for me. you got the tones and undertones just right (especially around the eyes) You also did a great job with the reflections. One thing that is forgotten often is to reflect the animal's surroundings onto it's fur. You were able to successfully blend in the neutral green of the forest without making it look fake. The background is nice, and fits very well with the wolf. There is only one thing I rather didn't like, and even that is probably just me. If it were me, I would have made the lower jowl slightly larger and the lower neck slightly smaller. Really just preference/style/nitpicking.

Seriously though, this is amazing. SHOW ME YOUR WAYS
